1. Introduction
By enrolling in our courses, training or participating in our community, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully, as they govern your access to and use of our content, resources, and community features.
Courses
2. Lifetime Access
When you purchase a course, you receive lifetime access to the course materials, including any future updates. "Lifetime access" refers to the lifespan of the platform. If the platform is ever discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice to allow you to download or access your materials where feasible.
3. No Refund Policy
All course purchases are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. Please ensure you review the course details and make an informed decision before enrolling. If you have any questions prior to purchasing, feel free to reach out to us for clarification.
Training
4. Partial Refund within 5 Working Days
If you purchase a Setting Up Shop organised training session in person, you may cancel within 5 working days of the course date, with a full refund minus 50% administration fee charged. Within 5 working days or if the training date has passed no refunds will be available. No online training sessions will be refunded after purchase. Please ensure you review the training details along with the dates and locations and make an informed decision before purchase. If you have any questions prior to purchasing, feel free to reach out to us for clarification.
Online training sessions will be recorded and a recording of the session provided after the date for personal use only (see 6. Intellectual Property for further scope).
5. Participation
By participating in an in person training session you may be recorded or your photograph taken. By participating in an online session you will be recorded. By participating in any type of training session you provide Setting Up Shop permission to share your image for promotional or other purposes as is fair use.
6. Use of the Community Platform
Our community platform is designed to foster collaboration, support, and growth. By participating, you agree to:
Engage respectfully with other members.
Refrain from sharing offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content.
Not use the platform for unsolicited promotions or spamming.
We reserve the right to moderate, remove content, or revoke access to the community for violations of these guidelines without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials and training materials including videos, documents, and resources, are the intellectual property of Setting Up Shop. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials outside of personal use without our express written permission.
8. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. By using our platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy as needed. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
